J. C. R. Licklider

J.C.R. Licklider (1915-1990) was an American psychologist and computer scientist. He is considered one of the pioneers of the field of computer science. Licklider was instrumental in the development of ARPANET, the precursor to the internet, and he played a key role in promoting the concept of human-computer interaction and the idea of a global computer network. His visionary ideas laid the foundation for the digital age we live in today.
