Charles P. Thacker

Charles P. Thacker (1943-2017) was an American computer scientist and hardware designer. He played a key role in the development of personal computing and graphical user interfaces. Thacker co-invented the Xerox Alto, one of the first computers to feature a graphical user interface. His contributions have had a lasting impact on computer design and human-computer interaction.
